spousal work permit and minor child study permit

I AM WORKING AS A FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR IN ALBERTA from last one year , i want to apply a open work permit for my wife and study visa for my son from Pakistan , but VAC center not allowed to submit the application with obtaining the LMO for my wife and acceptance letter for my son.
AND can somebody guide me how much money i have to show in my bank...when i have to apply the visa for my wife and 8 year minor son.

can somebody guid me ...what should i do to bring my wife and son in Canada.

Hi,

VAC should have accepted your family's permit applications as your wife is applying for an Spousal Open Work Permit which does not require a LMO. Food Service Supervisor comes under skilled category. I am not sure how the changes to CEC would have adversely affected the SOWP.

However you can still send an online application for the open work permit and study permit for the child.
