SPOUSAL Visa

I want to immigrate to Canada using spousal sponsership & i have recently resigned from my job.shall i apply for visitor visa first and thn apply for pr from Canada or shall i first file for PR from India and Apply for visitor Visa so that i can reach to my spouse as soon as possible ?
Which one is the best option ?

Assume you realise that spouse sponsorship can take upto 12 months .

Nothing to stop you applying for a visit visa but generally these can be very challenging to get approved when sponsor spouse is in Canada as IRCC tend to suspect the visiting spouse will not leave regardless of the outcome of any PR application.

Do not have a recommendation for one option or the other maybe others will express a preference but getting a visit visa would be the first challenge

Obviously if you manage to get to Canada as a visitor then an inland application gives you the opportunity to apply for a work permit .
