Spousal Visa

Hi,

Recently i got married in Oct. 2012 and i have sponsored for my Husband in 2012. The file received in Mississauga first week of December 2012. Everything is done including Medical and PPR is on 7 March 2013 which is sent to Delhi Visa Office. But it is now 60 days above, we are still waiting for further information. After submitting Passport, we r waiting for visa. I just want to know how long it will take time ?

New Delhi does request passports earlier the process.

Hello;

My name is Abdel from Morocco, my wife is workng inside Canada and precisely in Toronto under Live in care giver and she already applied for permanent residency.
The application is submitted on July 2011.
The CIC started processing on August 11 th 2011.

Any idea about the time left for for being approved the permanent residency???

We got married inside Canada(civil marriage according the canadian law in Canada) because I went therr as visitor with visa to see her and we got married there then; we were tild it is better to wait for the PR from outside Canada hecause it is fast somehow.So do you have any idea as I heared it take 24 months at most for being approved the immigrant visa to me as her husband from outside Canada and she will get her PR from inside.

How long dpes it take at most?????

I am a little confused. Is your wife already a PR? The spousal PR processing time for Morocco is only 9 months or something.

I think anyone that may be able to help will need a bit more information.

60 days is nothing. Some VOs take 24-28 months...

Expect to wait at least another few months. They arent "taking their time." They are processing people who applied before you. NDVO takes less a year for most applicants. Be grateful. Some take years. He will get here. A little time now is nothing compared to forever!

New Delhi asks for the passport before they even think about processing your file. I know it's not what you want to hear, but you're still early in the process. :/
