I have currently a permanent resident status here in Canada. I will be starting to process the application of my husband this month for the spousal visa after we got married last year. I called the immigration officer regarding the processing time and unfortunately it will take 61 days assessment of my application here and 15 months in Abu Dhabi or Philippines ( my husband is currently working in Abu Dhabi). We really want to be together and start our own family very soon so he is considering to apply as tourist visa. As I checked the document checklist I found out that one of the requirements is the travel itinerary. Will this mean buying an airfare ticket even though he is not sure if he will be approve or not? Please advise and share some inputs regarding visitor visa. THANKS!
