Spousal sposnsorship need help!!

Hi All

Need your help immediately!.. I m in Canada currently and gathering all documents for submission of spousal sponsorship for my wife who is in my home country.

I took all the signatures on the application forms from my wife before I left to Canada on 1 July 2010. However I just noticed that there are few corrections to be made.

1. On the additional sheets, I noticed that there are few corrections to be made. Can I use the white ink to correct the same or do I need to print them again?

2. Actually in the additional sheets, I took signature from my wife on all the additional sheets at the end of each sheet. Is it really required? If I have to make the corrections myself on the additional sheets or print new ones again I will not be able to have my wife's sign on it. Can I just go ahead and print them and submit with out my wife's signature on it? or you think it is better if she prints new one and resend them by courier with her sign on each additional sheet?

3. In IMM 0008 E, There is a question where my wife needs to write her name in our regional language. She forgot to write her name on that sheet. This form was typed and printed. However I have a back up application form which is hand written. This is on the first page. The remaining pages are typed. so my question is: Can I have mix of typed and handwritten forms? or it has to be uniform all over?

2. There is no need for your wife to sign additional information sheets, so go ahead and print them without her signature. No problem.

3. Just write it in by hand. We filled our form online and then I went over it later and wrote in "Not Applicable" in handwriting in all the empty spaces.

Vinjovi--> Ok great..Do I need to counter sign at the corrections made?

Vinjovi--> I have the soft copy with me. So in this I will just goahead and print the document by myself. Thanks. However there is this last question in Spousal questionnaire--"On a separate sheet of paper describe that uyour relationship is genuine" Does this needs to be signed? or not required as well?

General question: If the pages need not be signed, wouldn't the visa officer suspect if I had written for my wife or vice versa?

My husband and I filled in his application together and I wrote all the additional information answers for him. I'm a better writer, so we did it that way. It doesn't matter who wrote what or who's handwriting, the fact that your wife signs those forms means that she agrees with everything on them.

No, you don't need to sign by corrections. The only places your signature and your wife's signature need to be are where they are specified in the forms.

It doesn't matter if you or your wife writes her name in her native language - they just want to know what it is, they don't care who actually writes it. You could even type it.

For the 'additional info about your relationship' letter, the form doesn't actually say it has to be signed.
