Hey every body.i m living in canada on a study permit status.And fortunately have fallen in love wid a friend of mine she is a canadian citizen and v are planning to get married soon as well. can anyone guide me up that what things do i need to submit to cic, what are the processing times for PR.and all the procedure....please do let me know waiting.................

Keep all your msn/skype/emails convos , phone logs, and receipts, pictures in a safe place for proofs to your genuine relationship.


Timeline for Spouses to be sponsored living in Canada
Step 1 — Assessment of sponsor and person being sponsored : 9-10 months (initial assessment)
Step 2 — Medical, security, background checks and other verifications for person being sponsored: 9 months (working on applications received on October 8, 2010)

thanks alot but how come i can show my call logs i just have call logs and some pictures yet no skype conversations and no reciepts....

hi ali90 what country are you a native from? you maybe able to get faster processing from your native country while still being on a study prermit

Call logs are one of the few evidence if you can get a bill from your phone company that shows outgoing calls also pictures are helpful, text messages emails if you do that
