If RO days are incomplete and cannot be completed before the PR card expires, can I apply for my spouse's sponsorship? Will it have any implications on my PR status? Has anybody applied for spousal sponsorship in this scenario?

You need to wait until you meet RO before you can submit the application to sponsor your spouse for PR.

-You can't sponsor your spouse while out of compliance wtih the RO - and you shouldn't apply, it will cause problems.
-Including potentially triggering a review of your own RO status.

-It matters whether you are in or outside Canada - if you are inside Canada, just wait until you are in compliance. (Nor can you sponsor your spouse while outside Canada)
