I’ve been thinking about relocating temporary to South Africa after submitting Sponsorship application during the wait time. do i have to stay in canada after submitting spousal sponsorship application, will it affect anytime? I plan on also finding work during my time there

So yes you can leave Canada during the sponsorship process. You will proof that you will be returning once your spouse gets PR. You can search the forum about intent to return but Canada requires a lot of proof because many never actually returned to Canada.
