I am just about to start to sponsor my wife. I just want to ask, as a sponsor, am I the one to file the application and submit the documents? or should it be my wife, as the applicant, that the application and documents will come from her?

Your wife will send you the docs that she signed, then you will organize them and submit the application package to CPC-M.
