If any one has any insight into this, I will greatly appreciate.

My wife recieved a request for 2 pictures and other info to recieve her visa from vienna. One of the lines is:
2. Validity of your Immigrant Visa and your Confirmation of Permanent Residence Document
The issuance of your Confirmation of Permanent Residence document is time sensitive so it is important for you to act quickly upon receipt of this letter. Please note that the validity of your Confirmation of Permanent Residence is limited by the validity of your medical results or the validity of your passport (or of one of your accompanying dependent), whichever is shortest.

Her last medical was in August 2015, Im afraid that they will request this at the last minute.
Would they reach this step of the procedure if they needed new medical checkup?

Thank you

If they haven't requested another medical by this point, then the Aug 2015 one was most likely extended for a year to Aug 2017. It is still possible they may request a new one but unlikely.

Have you requested GCMS notes at any point in the process?

Thank you for the response.

I believe the GCMS notes were requested by my consultant after my wife was refused last year. I do not have access to them at the moment.

Im a bit stressed because we had a lot of trouble during this whole adventure. This medical exam part is in the back of my mind. I'm actually more concerned about the mailing process.
Maybe you can you could give me some advice.

My wife is in ireland, her current flat does not have dedicated mailboxes and no door bells for apartments/flats.

I would like to use DHL to send and receive envelope.

Here is the line that bothers me

Once you have arranged the pre-paid pick-up with the commercial courier service, the commercial courier company must contact our section by e-mail (vienn-visa@international.gc.ca) in order to organize the pick-up of your envelope.

I've never heard of a courier emailing someone to organize a pick up, is this a usual thing in europe?

Is there a way to ask DHL to call her when package is returning?

At this point i almost feel like sending registered mail and receive envelope through regular mail would be a better.

I also have an aunt in Vienna where the embassy is. I may ask them to send it to my aunt directly.

Thank you again

I don't know. I suggest you post on the Vienna thread.
