HI GUYS. I JUST WANT TO ASK WHY IMMIGRATION/MISSISSAUGA HAD NEVER INFORM ME THAT MY WIFES APPLICATION IS ALREADY IN MANILA IMMIGRATION,.(I AM A TORONTO PERMANENT RESIDENT) AND MY STATUS AT THE WEBSITE IS ( DECISION MADE) We received your application to sponsor (PA) on July 26, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 17, 2016.
We started processing your application on August 16, 2016..... DOES IT MEAN THAT I AM ELIGIBLE TO SPONSOR MY WIFE??

MY WIFES STATUS IS IN PROCESS)We received (PA) application for permanent residence on July 26, 2016.
We started processing (PA) application on September 7, 2016.
Medical results have been received.... then MANILA immigration has sent her Acknowledge letter with her application # and uci. then below are certain forms and they asked if she has already submitted them .. they gave us 30 days to submit those forms only if it hasn't submitted yet but everything was submitted already..
WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN AFTER THE 30 DAYS? CAN ANYONE PLEASE ANSWER? THANK YOU!

yes, if the application is at the visa office, then it is assumed you have been approved as a sponsor. generally, the sponsor will receive an email with the sponsor approval letter. if this was not received, you can try calling the cic call center and request the letter to be sent again. it really doesn't matter at this point.

generally, requests are given a certain time frame for applicants to respond. once that time frame is up, then the application will continue to process. no one can really tell you exactly how much longer the process will be. it sounds like your wife received a standard acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) letter from her visa office. the best thing to do is to find a thread specific to your visa office and see what the "Trends" are for processing. you can also order your wife's GMSC notes to see if anything is indicated about the file.

GCMS - Global Case Management System. It's the system that links several government agency offices, including CIC.

NOW MY WIFE'S STATUS SAYS "DECISION MADE" FROM "PROCESSING"...AND MANILA IMMIGRATION HAD SENT HER AN EMAIL REQUESTING HER PASSPORT TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE CLOSEST VISA APPLICATION CENTER (VAC), A PHOTO OF HER WITH SPECIFIC SIZE, AND SOME OTHER STUFF LIKE "APPENDIX B" FORM AT THE BOTTOM OF THEIR LETTER TO BE FILLED IN., THESE PACKAGE THEY SAID SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TOGETHER ALL AT ONCE. SHE WILL SUBMIT EVERYTHING ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 28,2016..MY QUESTION NOW IS" WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE VISA OFFICE RECEIVES HER PASSPORT? AND FOR HOW LONG UNTIL MY WIFES RECEIVE IT BACK?. To answer your question....what happens next is, She'll get her passport back stamped with her VISA to be able to enter Canada. That is, if they are SATISFIED that that's all CIC needed from her or you,not to alarm you or anything but sometimes CIC asks for additional documents . Like others have said no one can tell exactly how long CIC would take to process the new documents asked from you.
But CIC asking for her passport is an awesome sign that she is on her way to be reunited with you in Canada.

Hi am sponsoring my husband who lives in Nigeria. got SA in September, file transfer to Ghana office in Nov, they start processing on Nov 7 this is all 2016,eligibility is in progress, Wat am I expecting to hear next from them our application is pretty straight forward am nervous, lonely n confused.. It's depressing

At any stage of any CIC application is a waiting game,they tend to test you in so many ways. But keep the faith Queenanetor. Just always look forward to the day you and your hubby are together again ,this time for good,in Canada. Hope you'll hear some good news soon!
