Hi I filed my spouse sponsorship application which was received on July 18,2014 and my file got transferred to India on Sep 05,2014. Since then I haven't received any kind of email or rply from cic. My online status shows your sponsorship application was received and your madical has been received. Could you please help me that how long it takes to get visa approval or on which month files they are working on??

I'm in the same boat. I filed for my spousal sponsorship last year. My file was received by the Missisauga office on 17th July 2015. Received approval and file got transferred to the NDVO on 4th September 2014. Since then I haven't received any kind of email or rply from cic. My online status shows your sponsorship application was received. Wondering, how long it takes to get the visa approval or current files being worked on??
I got to know from my consultant that they process 3 month slots at a time. Mine should be looked at now.
