I don't think there's a minimjmfor spouaal sponsorship. Simply can't be on social assistance

Above post is correct. There is no minimum income requirement, but you should be able to demonstrate how you can support the spouse.

Additionally as dominicantiguan said, you cannot be collecting welfare.
