My husband was approved last month as my sponsor and now my part of application has been sent to the London visa office for processing. Just wondered how long it would be before I get confirmation that my application has been received in London and will they send me a unique indentifying number like my husband already has? I only have my confirmation of payment receipt number which doesnt show up anything yet when checking application status. Many thanks

You can use the UCI and your husband's details to check the status of both the sponsor and applicant processing status. It's the same UCI for both of you.

You can use the UCI and your husband's details to check the status of both the sponsor and applicant processing status. It's the same UCI for both of you.

You may also use the Application/File number and the sponsors information to access the ECAS system.
Sometimes the UCI does not work or vice versa.

UCI cannot be same for 2 individuals. You will get ur own UCI.
Meanwhile you can use ur husbands details to check ecas status.

That is correct UCI's are different.

Thanks for letting me know that we will have separate UCI codes. I still haven't received a unique identifying number. Maybe I won't get one until my part is "In Process"?
