My wife was granted a student visa earlier this year. During the visa application process she was required to take a medical exam.
We are now in the process of applying for Permanent Residence through spousal sponsorship, but I was wondering if she would need to take another medical exam. Speaking with the clinic, we were told that the exam is exactly the same for student visas as it is for spousal sponsorship. However, the upfront medical exam notification indicates that it was for student visa purposes.
Would anyone know if my wife needs to retake the medical exam, but now for spousal sponsorship purposes?
Her original medical was done in December 2015 so the results are still valid.
