Hi everybody! In several immigrations forums lawyers recommed to write a letter giving more details about the relationship in order to help an immigration officer have an overview of the most important facts. I know this
is not part of the documents that cic request, but i would like to know if someone here send somethings like this.
Did you sent letters of family and friends talking about the relationship? I'm not sure if i should do it because i still haven't meet my husband's family because my tvr was rejected and when he came to visit me we didn't had time to travel to my parents house, he only meet some friends of mine and co-workers.
Our families are happy with our relationship and we have seen each other by photo

I did and im glad I did. there's a small box in the main application that doesn't fit very much so I put something like " see attached word document" its your chance to pre-empt any concerns and explain the development of your relationship and to make your case. There is also some helpful info they take into consideration in their decision but don't specifically ask for in the app. an example is religious compatibility, In my case I said that I converted to my wife's religion eliminating any concerns in that regard.

After that The only additional info they asked for later was a specific date of meeting, and proof of my residency.
