What's the process for spousal sponsorship? Do i need a steady income in order to get approval or will it take longer without income? How can i get approval without going to the interview process and other redflags.

You need to show that you will be able to support yourselves without government help.

Yes you can inlclude savings of family members but it would be best for the spouses to have their own income and savings to show they can care for themselves.
