Hello,

I have applied for sponsoring my wife last year and got the PR application approved and received visa

before landing to Canada, my wife got pregnant and now she is carrying.

She decided to stay in India until the delivery and come to Canada next year in April/May 2020, but by that time her PR validity will expire

What is the process to extend the validity of the PR?

and what is the process to get visa for the new born baby?

Please advise

Thank You

It's not possible to extend the COPR. She either needs to complete landing activities before the COPR expires or you'll have to sponsor her from scratch again later.

Is it worth asking IRCC to extend based on the medical reason and
Is it possible to apply visa for the new born?

Not worth asking in my opinion. Extensions really aren't granted. You should make arrangements to have her land soon and then return to her home country to give birth.
