Well, after resubmitting my application to sponsor my Colombian wife for PR (didn't have all in order the first time around) I was pleased to receive notification on February 22 that they would proceed with the application. I took this as Acknowledgement of receipt AOR although nowhere in the letter were those specific words used. Then in May an email stating that I was considered eligible to sponsor. UCI and application numbers had been assigned. Then a few days later on May 30th another email to both of us. (I am in Canada, she is still in Colombia.) This last email was advice to link the paper application to an online account. Setting up and registering an account seemed straight forward but at this point we are bogged down. Attempts to log in lead nowhere. Incorrect UCI# and or password? There was a suggestion that the application has not yet been "entered into the system". I figured if a UCI and application number had been issued then it was in fact in the system. I'm really at a loss. I know that it is still early stages but my wife wants to check the application status. And me as well. At this point I figured everything had been transferred to the Bogota embassy so my wife's eligibility could be determined. Anyone else in this same boat? Or please can anyone give us an idea of what if anything we are doing wrong?
