Spousal Sponsorship Application

Hello,

I am being sponsored by my wife who lives in Canada, I am a US citizen. I have completed all the application forms as well as gathered information: marriage license, birth certificate, phone records, airline tickets, photos (wedding photos, photos of time I spent in Canada with my wife and her son, time they spent here), a few hotel confirmations, medical exam by a panel physician, and a background check/police certificate from the Secretary of State via the DOJ.
I am sending my fingerprints to the FBI ASAP but given the processing time I am wondering if it is better to submit everything I have including a document stating that the FBI is currently processing my fingerprints. I want to get up there and be with my wife and her son as soon as possible and was thinking maybe it would be good to send what I have so that they can start processing the application.
Please let me know what you think and any helpful information you have.
Thanks!!

Are you applying inland or outland?
It is usually best to wait and send everything together.
However, I sent my FBI report separately, still waiting to see the outcome of that.

as the original poster is a US citizen, the ONLY way they should be applying is OUTLAND.

Yes, you can send your application without the FBI clearance. I'm sure providing an explanation would be useful as well. Applications are not getting sent back because the police record is not in the original package. More likely than not, the sponsor eligibility letter will provide instructions for sending it to the visa office. Feel free to send in the application if everything else is ready - as long as it's an OUTLAND application!

I'm applying Outland. Thank you for info. It's been pretty overwhelming trying to gather all the proof of our relationship and I'm still not sure if I have enough, but I could work on that for a long time because we have so much proof from the time we met ( Jan 2012). Any suggestions on how much is enough proof of relationship?

Visiting proof
We have flown to see each other quite a few times ( We have found the conf emails for most of those but are missing a couple )

Text message and phone conversations
We have multiple thousands of text messages a month and have for around two years ( I pulled the amounts for each month in 2014 and dumped them into Excel)

How would you gather the texts and how much of them would you include?

Phone calls:
From Cell Phone: I have about 30 calls for Jan 2014 - Mar 2014 ( I also visited in Jan for her bday, Feb for Valentine's day, and March ( for a month and a half ) to help her out after her leg surgery)

I am working on getting more. From my previous carrier, and landline carrier.

How much is enough in regards to the proof?
