Spousal sponsorship application clarification (India)

I am an Indian married to a Canada PR. We're in the process of sending the application for sponsorship. I have the below clarifications,

1. Should I attach my original passport while mailing the application or should I wait for the visa to be approved.
2. Is it possible to process my open work permit along with the spousal sponsorship application

1. No do not attach your passport.
2. Only if you are you are an inland sponsorship.

This was explained a year ago.
