Hi Everyone,
Has anyone applied for Spousal Sponsorship and THEN applied for a visit visa?
Here's the situ....
My husband (applicant) and I (sponsor) applied for Spousal sponsorship in July and I was approved as a sponsor 11 days later. We both live in Abu Dhabi together, we married in Feb 2016. I want to go home for the christmas holidays. My family would really like for my hubby to come too so we can have our first family christmas in Canada.
My questions are as follows:
Has anyone done this before? Successes? Failures? I'm interested in all.
Will a rejection to the visit visa cause a rejection to my spousal sponsorship?
If/When we apply for the visit visa we are going to explain that we are only going home for christmas/New Year and then we will return to AD for work and to await our proper spousal sponsorship approval.
Is there anything else we can include to make sure we are not rejected from both.
Thank you.
