Does anyone here have the same case as mine? Anyway, I submitted my application Inland for Spousal Sponsorship for my wife last year Dec. 4, 2017 then I received an AOR January 2018 after a months of waiting we received a letter for medical by the end of April and got passed the medical and showed up to CIC Account that Medical has passed exactly May. 1, 2018. August. 11, 2018 I noticed that the Background check has changed to “We are processing your background check” Does anyone here have the same case? We emailed the VO in Manila for follow up they said that application still in progress but it’s been almost 4 months now after medical until now still no update. I don’t know until now we haven’t received a request for Passport request.
Here is my status.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
