Wondering about stories from people who have passed the 12 month processing timeline with no word from their VO (I mean NO word, not that people have received ADR and are waiting after having submitted additional documents).
My own situation:
Application to sponsor my husband and kids (my step-kids) passed the 12 month mark on April 4. We haven't heard anything since medicals were done in September, other than replies to inquiries stating that our application is being processed and we don't need to do anything more at this time. Same message from MP's office when we inquired.
Received our notes towards the end of March, dated mid February. File was last updated January 9th, though they did acknowledge some additional documents sent January 15 after returning from my trip to visit with my family over Christmas. Have since ordered twice more and am waiting on these being processed.
I realize our file is a little more complicated as we have three dependent children, and I have sponsored in the past. We are being processed through Accra Visa Office.
Also, has anyone been successful in obtaining a real update on their file if they have attempted to get more information?
