Hello

I landed Toronto on 4th oct 2012 as a new immigrant.my visa was stamped in the passport on 14 august 2012 and i got married on 27th aug 2012.since i didnt get sufficient time, i cudnt update my marital status in the passport and landing paper.Inadvertantly , i cudn't inform the change in marital status to the immigration offficer when i arrived.In this case,will there be any issues to sponsor my spouse?

1. It couldn't be that "inadvertent" You received a letter with your COPR explaining that you had to declare any changes in family composition, when you "landed" you signed, stating all the information was correct, including the fact that you were single.
2. So now you can't sponsor your wife, because she is no longer a member of the family class, as she wasn't examined. It is also possible, if it comes to the attention of CIC/CBSA that you can be reported for misrepresentation.
