Hello, my husband is working NOC B job under spousal open work permit and our visa will expire soon. I will have to return my home country after completion of my degree. However, my husband's employer is willing to provide LMIA-exempted job offer. My question is that will my husband able to extend his open work permit independently or change spousal open work permit to closed work permit by this LMIA job offer?

He can only extend his open work permit if you remain in Canada, get your PGWP and also secure a NOC A, B or 0 job.
He would need to switch to a closed work permit based on the LMIA exempt job offer.
Thank you so much. That means he will be able to work in only that company and can't work in any other company. And one more question is that should my job be my study field related or can it be any kind of NOC 0,A,B?
