Hi everyone,

Need you input please!

My friend, unfortunately, passed the deadline of applying for her PGWP. Her SP is valid till June 30, 2013 and her status now is of course a student still. Her common-law partner is willing to sponsor her to get an open work permit.

The question is, other than the Common Law Declaration Form, is there anything they have to provide?

They lived in residence till Aug 2012, where only her partner was required to sign the contract (her name was not on anywhere). They did move out and had signed a lease agreement as of Aug 2012. All they have before that timeline is the Notice of Assessment (dated May 2012) from CRA showing both of their name and the residence address (they have self-declared as CL on 2011 T1).

Please share your thoughts.
