Hi
My wife is sponsoring me to come to Canada to be with her and i am currently filling in all the documentation but getting confused about the medical and when to get it done, i live in the UK(northern ireland) and the closest panel physician is in Dublin who i was on the phone with earlier, she said that i cannot get the medical done until after i submit the application and be given my UCI (i think that's what she called it!) number, which im assuming is just like a number associated with my application so that i can track its progress etc.
My issue is that looking at the cic website it says you can get the medical done before hand and even recommends it so that there is no hold up with your application!. So i'm wondering whats going on and who is right!?
Any help would be appreciated!
