sposnosrship fee not paid in full by accident - URGENT, please help

Hello all,

I accidentally paid $1000 instead of $1040 for spouse sponsorship at the bank. We were ready to apply. What do I do? Is it OK to do separate payment online of $40?

Not to worry. They will process the application as 550 is all they need to process the PR application. The right of Pr fee of 490 will not be paid as you are short 40 for it. So it is likely that CiC will ask you to pay the remaining cost of RPRF when the time comes.

What I would suggest is you pay the RPRF again online and submit it with application. CiC will refund any difference back to you once they process the application.

Another suggestion is to find a fee with CIC website that cost 40. Print up the receipt and explain that the 40 is to cover the remaining RPRF.
