Sponsporship appeal/vfs global

i am sponsoring my american husband from usa and we were first denied a year ago for a dui he got 12 years ago. we appealed and thought we won but 5 months later, we were told it was denied. i contacted the canadian government and they told me that the appeal was not finished processing yet. we have now been redirected to a company called vfs global. i am wondering what everyones experience has gone with this company and if my appeal going to them could be a negative. any comments or suggestions would be helpful! thanks in advance

VFS is the company that collects biometrics and through them applicants submit passports and sometimes documents to be forwarded to the Embassy or IRCC for visa stamping. They have nothing to do with processing of appeals. It might be through them that you would submit documents that have been requested related to your appeal.

You should contact IRCC to get clarification of what VFS's involvement is supposed to be.
