Hi All,

Below is my Situation and we need your expert advise make an appropriate decision.

My husband is a Permanent Residence holder Immigrated late 2011 and staying in Scarborough, Canada.
We recently got married few months ago and my husband wants me to visit him asap as I am pregnant and we want our baby to take birth in Canada,

I know through my known sources that the whole process takes approx a year to get me into canada and it will be too late by then.

Hence we are thinking to apply for a Visit Visa and file for my sponsorship in Canada simaltaneously.

Below are my concerns:

1>. If birth takes place in Canada where I am on Visit Visa and my husband is a PR, does my child get Canadian Citizenship by Birth ?

2>. Is there any chances of rejection If I apply for VISIT VISA and ask my husband for visit sponsorship

3>. Simply book a package for Visit to Canada with my parents and get here and keep renewing my Visit visa untill birth.

please help thanks

1) Yes

2) Chance of rejection is in any case, not sure what is visit sponsorship?. Do you have any travel history? coz when you put "visiting husband" then there is definitely that chance they will assume you will try to get sponsored inland. In addition, if they ask for medical then it cane be found that you are pregnant and that is another red flag

3) Very doable and better option

..my 2 cents

wow its good and i just hope that the first option works out well, anyways what i meant by visit sponsorship was to get an invitation letter etc from my husband and tell consulate that I am coming to meet him, however as highlighted above they might think that i will then try to get sponsored inland..

so now if i consider the third option, in that case should i apply for a Single Entry Visa or Multiple Entry Visa ???, I have no travel history, I recently got my passport after our marraige so that i can visit my husband

Also what is the term that you are allowed to stay in a single entry visa if booked through tour and after visa is granted how much time do you have to Visit Canada ?.. I am planning to book a tour package for 3, i.e. me and parents (Inlaws- My husbands mom and dad).

at any cost i am just wanting my visa to be approved hence exploring these options, Pls advise thanks

Travel history is a big plus, shows that you have visited other countries and came back. Nonetheless, having no history is not a crime but then the percentage of acquiring a visa goes down. Going with a tour might swing in your way, you still have to show papers to show ties with India.
Once visa is given:

Single: 1 year: You cannot go out of Canada and come back in again within that 1 year since it is single entry

Multiple 1 year: You can go out of Canada and come back in again within that 1 year since it is multiple entry.

In both scenarios, they normally stamp 6 months visit, if there is no stamp or no date then its six months. You can request to extend before the 1st six months expire and same for the 2nd 6 months but not after that since the 1 year visa would have expired

But again, if you are planning to apply with tour, your intention is only to visit for 3-4 weeks. So they could only stamp for less time and extension might be difficult as you have to come up with reasoning like you met a friend etc, and enjoying your time here etc

I thought as indicated Tour is the best option and hence planning to visit for 3-4 weeks on a tour and get the visa, if theres any other way where the chances are more let me know, also for applying on a tourist visa since i don't work, I don't have a Salary Slip and Form 16, I won't be able to produce any of my documents, and i will be able to submit my husbands account statement on which i am a joint owner showing the balance, is that sufficient enough for application or do we need to show more as needed let me know.

You might want to see a consultant with all your paperwork, very hard to determine situations over a forum. In Visas, luck plays the primary role
