Sponsorship of Parents Processing Time

I want to know how long it takes to process the sponsorship of my parents from the Canadian Embassy in Damascus Syria. I know that they are 2 processing times one in Canada for sponsors financial evaluation and the other one in the embassy. Does anyone know each of the processing times?

Official timeslines are posted on the cic website but realistically it takes anywhere from 4 to 6 years. How that we have the pathetic conservatives in power you are looking at 11 years

Stage 1 (Mississauga) is currently 44 months:

Stage 2 (Damascus) is currently 25 months for 80% of applications:

So approximately 69 months total processing time.

Our initial sponsorship application from our daughter in Canada was sent to CIC in June 2011. There has been no acknowledgement of it till date, nor any correspondence regarding providing file number.
Does anyone have similar or different experience in this regard? How long should awarding file number take? Thanks
