Hi everyone,

Need some advice for common law sponsor ..

Got my permanent residency and want to sponsor my long time girlfriend , but How can I do that , I did not declare that we are in a common law long time, before I got my PR I use single in every application and now decided to let her stay with me,don't want her to go home.
Even all taxes, we are filling single status.

We have proof that we are in common law long time 4 years , before I got my PR this month.
Please help..

Thanks

You can't sponsor her as your common law partner since you failed to declare her in your application. If you try to sponsor her as your common law partner, the application will be most certainly refused and you may put your own PR status in jeopardy for misrepresentation (because you declared yourself as single when you were in fact common law).

As of the date you officially landed as PR, had you been living with your gf for at least 12 consecutive months before that?

If so, then your gf is now banned forever under family class sponsorship by you. It does not matter if you apply as conjugal, common-law or married. She will need to find another way to immigrate to Canada outside of family class (i.e. through skilled worker or something).
