Hi everyone.

I want to sponsor my spouse from Kosovo. I looked into the fee's of how much It will cost if we have an immigration lawyer handle our case. It's really expensive.
Just wants some advice, to those who are almost done there process, or are going through process. Can we we do It on our own, or will we need a lawyer to assist in the
application. Just dont want to risk making a mistake that might cost us.

Most of us here have gone through the process on our own without the assistance of a lawyer or consultant. It means you have to do quite a bit more reading and research on your own using the CIC site and forums such as this one. But it's definitely doable. You and your spouse will have to decide what works best for you and which option you are most comfortable with. Hope this helps.
