Hi,
I currently study in Canada as international student, meanwhile my step father has opened sponsorship application for me and my mom. However, the graduation date is coming near for me while the sponsorship application is still uncertain (maybe 6months or 1 year of waiting). Plus, I am turning to 23.
As I know if I now finish school and go to work, my dad won't be able to sponsor me as dependent child. Thus, I come up with the idea:
I will continue to go to school here in Canada. But not for master or another bachelor degree (Too expensive for intentional student as I have suffered last 5 years). Instead, I will study diploma or certificate.
My question is: Would it be considered as full time study ? I'm a bit worried since CIC website only tells me that as long as I still depends on my parents and go to school full time, I'm ok to be sponsored. Hmmm .... quite confusing and challenging.
P.S.: I'm not afraid of working, but taking the risk of failing our sponsorship application is quite unacceptable.
