Sponsorship fee

Hi all,

My spouse and I are aware of the fee for application ~$1000. However the payment form is found under the sponsor (me) section. Would it raise concerns for the immigration officer if the fee was paid by my spouse instead? My spouse has the fees to pay for the package because I paid for several trips that she and I took to visit each other.

The sponsor or the principal applicant can pay the fees ($1040). It makes no difference to CIC.
