Hello, I´m from Mexico .

In september of 2014 I went to Canada to study a semester in a college for an exchage program of my University , and I met my girlfriend the first day I arrived to Canada she is a Canadian citizen born and raised in Canada .We were together for the whole course ( until january 2015 when it was time to go back home), and we started a LDR , I visited her two months after ( march), for two weeks and I met her family . Then she came to visit in july to met my family. And I went back for another visit on september. Once again She came to Mexico in january 2016 , she stayed here for two months this time . We have been dating for almos 1 year and 4 months now , physically and long distance since 2014 . We are currently looking to apply for the sponsorship and we want to know what are our chances for applying for this, we are both graduated, I´m currently saving money for whatever is comming next. As you can see this is a real and commited relationship, not to speak about the money we both have spent in travel, but the time we have been together and been apart it´s really hard and despite the distance we want to be together.

We have letters, pictures, plane tickets , and well she spent two months with me away from home.

She wants to sponsor me to go to canada but we don´t know if we are ablo to do it as a conjugal partner. Any help or advice will be appreciated

thank you

To be sponsored as a conjugal partner, you have to prove that there is some barrier preventing you two from getting married or living together for one year. Since you have been visiting each other, there is no immigration barrier to living together, and in any case you could get married. So a conjugal application will not work.

If you get married or live together for one continuous year, she should have no problem sponsoring you. Your relationship has developed normally and it sounds like you would have a lot of proof.

Relationship proof is fine.

Application options however not so. You cant do conjugal as you are realistically able to stay in canada and keep renewing visitor visas.

You cant do commonlaw as you havent lived together at the same address for more than 12 months. To do this youd both need to find a way to live together. You could either visit each other in each others country for 6 months each under the same address or spend an entire 12 months at the same address. Either way youd both be unable to work in each others country so thats a major consideration.

Only other option is get married. But dont do that solely for a visa as no matter how commited and real the relationship is, thats a red flag for immigration.
