Sponsorship application for dependent child / tax returns

I landed as immigrant in March 2008. Since then, I have been in Pakistan. I visited Canada from for two weeks in June 2009 for filing sponsorship of my daughter.. Please advice that if I have to file my tax return, shall this be filed with permanent resident status or shall it be filed as non-resident status. If I will file as non-resident status, I willl be able to share the tax return submitted to tax authority in Pakistan for peroid July 2008- June 2009.

I am not really sure, how this will impact my sponsorship status , but copy of tax return has to be submitted to CIC.

You know that as a PR you have to be residing in Canada at all times to submit a sponsorship? You are non resident for taxation purposes in Canada.
