Sponsorship application and fees

hey there

just wanted to know the proper fee structure as its a bit confusing on the web site :

im a canadian citizen living exclusivly outside of canada in pakistan. i also have a child and already have his Proof of Citizen Certificate.

so im sure i wouldnt have to pay the fees for my child and just apply for his passport which would be seperate

so im guessing and hope someone can help me out here :


Sponsorship application (per application) $75

Principal applicant $475

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Getting your permanent resident status – FeesGetting your permanent resident status $490 this i can pay later if im correct ??? if so when would this be ? when i come with my wife and kids or before i get the VISA ?

Hi

You pay nothing for your child. You have the correct fees listed.

It is better to pay the full $1040 upfront. Not paying the RPRF can cause a delay, as CIC would then need to request the payment and verify that you have paid it prior to approving your wife's app.
