Hello,
I had my interview at the Canadian Embassy in Sweden on January 30, 2024, followed by a medical examination and biometric submission. I also received the Pre-Arrival Services letter. However, since then, I have not received any further updates, and it has now been a year since these steps were completed.
Now they tell me when I text them:
“Your application remains in a queue to be reviewed by an officer”
Is there anything I can do about this?

Pre-arrival can actually happen at any point in the process which confuses people. Not an unusual timeline and Canada is trying to reduce volume of refugees so quotas are smaller which will likely also lead to longer processing times.
