Has anyone noticed IMM 1344 is being updated?

I just noticed this...

We sent in our application on July 7 and it arrived in Ottawa on the 15th.. we had the 03-2016 version of the form in the application

does anyone know if this will be an issue?? I am worried if our app will be sent back because of this

I don't think it was on the website at the beginning of July. I think they updated it recently so you might be fine.

I compared the files with a software. It looks like the only change is the first page in which it remains the user to use the latest version of Adobe reader if the user cannot read the document. You won't even see this page if your reader is up to date.

I couldn't find a difference between the files too..I completed the new one but it's exactly the same as the old one..not sure why they would update it. The only difference is that the new form shows the July version rather than March version at the bottom...Not sure, what happens if someone still submits the March one even though the information would be the same on both forms.

Yes, they updated just couple days ago. When I about to have a final check with all the forms last Sunday, then noticed form updated July.

they go by the version date of the form. it doesn't matter if no changes were made to the questions. if an old form is submitted, you risk having your application sent back as incomplete or getting a document request. there are numerous examples of this happening in the past. they sometimes have a "grace" period for those who submit the form close to the new release date. they don't do this for everyone, as it's expected you use the most current version.
