Sponsor's Birth Certificate (Need Help)

I submitted my application to sponsor my wife but didn't include my birth certificate, I am a canadian citizen but I was born outside & became citizen after, i did provide copy of my canadian passport, will they return my application because I didn't provide my birth certificate? Please advise, thanks

No, your app will not be returned. A sponsor's Canadian birth certificate is just one of several documents that can be used as proof of citizenship.

I think you will be okay sending your Canadian Passport and not your birth certificate. If they require this they will probably request it from you.
