Okay So a lot of my questions weren't answered so I will repost the ones that need answering.
I ONLY WANT EXPERIENCED PEOPLE TO RESPOND. IF YOU CAN'T ANSWER 90 PERCENT OF MY QUESTIONS YOU ARE USELESS.
First and foremost, I was reading the sticky about Spouse sponsorship and someone made a post that confuses the ******* out of me. Please explain this to me.
OKAY here is the rest of my story I need answers to.
I am a 21 year old female with both Canadian and United States Citizenship. I am currently living in Vancouver, BC
My Boyfriend is a 19 year old male with United States citizenship living in the United States.
I am told he needs to apply for an open work permit. But only a general work permit form exists on the website. Someone said to leave a note included in the general work permit form saying we are applying for an open work permit. Is this true?
Also, He does not have a job waiting for him, he would need to search for work. So what do I put for the section that says to fill out Current employment information? Also it says only open work permits are granted for those that are under Class O, A or B. Where do you find out what jobs are those classes? Also, those seem to be skilled labor jobs. What if he cannot do that type of work? If he can, how will he find this type of work?
Under Canada's common law, it states you can live together for 12 months if you provide proof in the means of shared utilities, rent, etc.
Okay. I am confused. How can my boyfriend share the utilities and rent with me if he cannot work before receiving the work permit?
OKAY. What do I need to do first? He comes here as a visitor? Then we extend his stay or not according to the persons statement at the top? Then we apply for common law sponsorship and include a work permit form with a note stating he is applying for an open work permit?
THANK YOU!

(I assume they mean spouse PR form when they say application.) What I understand is that you only need to send an open work permit form in the same envelope as your Spouse Form but NOT include an extension form? Is that correct? If you are submitting a regular extension with the application then do that but if you don't want to have to keep extending your stay during the process and have implied status then you only need to send an application for an open work permit included inside the SAME envelope as your PR application and make sure it is received by Vegreville BEFORE your status expires.
I just wanted to state some corrections before people think they need to include both a regular extension request and open work permit with their inland application.
