Wife: Canadian Citizen, currently earning and residing in the UAE for the last 4 years (been out of Canada for the last 4 years).

Myself: Pakistani National, also earning and residing in the UAE.

We got married in UAE, in February 2016.

How can I go about my migration to Canada (PR/Citizenship) through my wife as a sponsor (as she is not living or earning in Canada anymore)?

PR and Citizenship are not the same. you will not be eligible to apply for citizenship until you can prove you've lived in Canada as a PR for 4 out of 6 years.

there is no requirement for a canadian citizen to be living and working in canada while the application for sponsoring a spouse for PR is submitted. It is also not required for the sponsor to be employed. What is required is that your application must show your plans for resettling in canada upon approval. she can not successfully sponsor you for PR if there is no intention to immediately move to canada once approved.

I'd recommend going to the very first thread pinned on this board and read the information from Leon thoroughly, then find the right application guide on the CIC website and start reading it to understand what documentation is required.
