Sponsoring Spouse from Saudi Arabia (non Saudi)

I am a Canadian citizen and would like to sponsor my spouse, he has been working and living in Saudi Arabia for the last three years, he is a Pakistani national and he is on work permit in S.A. My question is that his visa office is Abu Dhabi but because he is a Pakistani national should he include Pakistani regional requirements as well? Such as extra educations document, original educational document or extra residency forms when submitting his region specific requirements ?

you can choose to be processed either through AbuDhabi, as residence is Saudi Arabia, or through Islamabad. Once you choose one, then download the "country/region specific" guideline and follow it.

Had a question. If he is residing in Saudi, then why isn't his visa office Riyadh ? Why Abu dhabi ?
