Sponsoring Spouse after PR

I am single and received Canadian PR few months back. I am planning to get married in few months and then will be sponsoring my wife to come to Canada and live with me.

1. Can anyone please guide if my would be wife needs to take IELTS for this as well?
2. Is taking IELTS or having certain minimum bands in IELTS required for sponsoring your spouse PR to Canada?
