sponsoring Sister in india to Canada

I am a PR here since feb 2009. Can someone help me to understand what to do?
what the procedure to do? what are the documents required? how can I go about this.
Planning to put the application in December 2010. Can i also sponsor my brother in law when i am sponsoring my sister ?

Generally you cannot sponsor your sister under the Family Class. What province do you live in? In Alberta and Manitoba (not sure about Saskatchewan) there are provincial nominee programs for sponsoring siblings.

Unless you live in one of these provinces, you cannot sponsor a sibling unless they are orphaned and unmarried.

Then you cannot sponsor a sibling.

Nope your sister has to get in another way like the FSW program or as a student and the only one who can sponsor her husband is her.OR visa versa her husband can apply for the FSW or student and sponsor your sister but you can not help them.
