I am planning to sponsor my parents in 2016 who are in Pakistan.
I have few of questions. Any help would be appreciated.
1. I don’t have birth certificate, nor do I have resources back home to run around and get one.
I know this is a required document, what can be a substitute for this? An affidavit?
2. When I review the supporting document check list, then I need: (documents in my case only)
a. Copy of Canadian citizenship card
b. Sponsor’s (My) birth certificate (Which I don’t have)
c. TAX return/Option C
d. Copy of Travel Document of applicant/s
e. Marriage certificate of parents
Now this is a pretty small list of docs,
3. Nowhere it mentioned of pictures of any kind?
4. In the guide it tells us how to translate documents, but nowhere in the document list it asks for parents ID cards etc.
5. Should I expect more documents in future?
6. When I fill the financial evaluation, (my spouse in not co applicant), and try to fill the form it still asks for her pay and job details?
7. When I fill the financial evaluation, it should show years 2014, 2013 and 2012 on the form for the last 3 years of pay for 2016 application, but instead it shows 2013, 12 and 11. Should I wait for new form to reflect this change or I am doing something wrong?
8. Are all applications for Pakistan now being processed from London – UK?
I may have more questions but for now answers for these will help me start my application.
