Sponsoring parents from India for permanent residence

Hello,

My husband and I want to apply for his parents PR. They are both Indian Citizens. Does anyone know if the freeze has been lifted? And when can we start the process. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

The parental sponsorship opens in January 2014. Details are/will be posted on the CIC website. It's likely to be expensive and time consuming. There is also a cap on the numbers that will be admitted.
