Sponsoring parents for visit after landing as PR

Hi Seniors,
I moved to Canada 3 months ago as PR. I am currently working as an independent IT Contractor. I want my dad to visit me here for a month. Will it be a problem visa wise to invite him in next couple of months or should i wait few more months or a year?
I want to show my funds in Canada to sponsor his trip.
Visa/travel companies will ofcourse tell me to go ahead so they get my business. But I want to get unbiased advice.

There is no need to employ a consultant you can fill out the applications on your own. Your father's ability to get a trv will be dependent on his financial status, his travel history to countries requiring a visa like the US, Australia, UK, etc as well as his ability to show strong ties to his home country like a job, dependent family members, etc.
